Waterproofing Asbestos Roofs
How do I stop leaky gutters from leeching damp onto internal walls?
1950s bungalow, the gutters are whole pieces of concrete that span the cavity across the top of the walls. My neighbour says you can’t cut them down because they’ve got asbestos in them! And I can’t take them off without lifting the whole roof up. Is there any way of making them waterproof?
blackjack paint … the risk level from the asbestos fibres will be very low because its fixed in place by the cement.. you are safe to slap on the black jack.. is best done in the summer during a dry spell because you dont want to seal any moisture in ..cost about £30
