Installing Vinyl Siding Over Old Asbestos Siding
I am installing vinyl siding over asbestos siding.. Do i HAVE to put the foam insulation board under the vinyl siding?? Is the only purpose of it just to help insulate the house??
I would recommend not trying to install vinyl siding over asbestos siding. Asbestos siding is hard and brittle, so it is extremely hard to nail through.
