After SO MANY insulation scandals, why should we trust Canada’s gov’t-backed R-2000?
Thanks to the feds, homeowners paid big-time first to insert and then remove toxic urea formaldehyde and zonolite (asbestos – still in litigation over this). Then they promoted weathertightness so excessive, it led to a leaky condo epidemic. Celebrity blder Mike Holmes doesn’t like R-2000 at all. Are the reasons Mike Holmes provides for preferring cheaper alternatives to R-2000 compelling?
