I want to paint asbestos roof from inside on first floor which asian paint to use?
Is there any technique by which i can reduce heat reflected by asbestos during daytime? Any paint from inside or outside which will reduce heat? or any covering or patches or plywood to be fixed to sheets from inside? Help me out so that problem of heat is solved economically.
The only asbestos roof panels that I have encountered are a cement based product with asbestos fibers used for reinforcement. If this is what you have check with you local paint store for a coating product that will adhere to cement based materials. Any light color applied to the exterior will help but white will reflect the most heat. AS asbestos is a health hazard tell you supplier that you want a product that can be applies without any type of surface preparation. So do not sand or rough the surface as this will release asbestos fibers into the air and become a health problem.
