what are the symptoms of asbestos poisoning?

I recently opened up a room in our apartment that was locked up,I wanted to make it into a bedroom,I noticed everytime I go in there to work,my face gets instantly dry feeling,I am wondering if the ceiling tiles are asbestos and if this is a symptom of asbestos in the air.none of tiles are damaged
