Rockwool Insulation Asbestos
Does Rockwool insulation from 1975 contain asbestos?
Rockwool as purchases will not have it. However it is possible it is a mix or it was used to replace something else. Bottom line, the ONLY way to know if asbestos is present is to have the material tested at a local lab. Make sure your sample contains all layers.
