Mesothelioma Foundations

How are my chances of getting into medical school looking? Where can I improve?
I’m currently double majoring in microbiology and psychology, and I’m 75% sure that I’m going to add biology as a third major. My GPA right now is only a 2.7 but I had a rough first couple of quarters, and I’ve been doing much better this quarter. I’m only in my first year of college, so I have a few years to bring it back up to par. I haven’t taken the MCAT yet(due to lack of physics classes). I’m assisting my anatomy professor in the dissection of cadavers, organizing a charity event for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, participating in a team for the Relay for Life, and I’ve talked to several doctors about shadowing them during surgery.
Constructive criticism is appreciated
You do not need a triple major. It will probably not help your admission. A higher GPA in a double major is better than one that is even slightly lower in a triple major.
Concentrate on bringing your GPA up to at least 3.76 which is still mathematically possible at this point based on a quick mental calculation.
Students usually do not take the MCAT until the end of the third year. The additional classes and experience will help them achieve a higher score.

Your mom needs to call the doctor and ask him to prescribe some tranquilizers. Your dad seems angry because he knows what’s ahead for him. His behavior is not uncommon and can get worse, which may lead to an accelleration of his disease, or other problems. Have her call the doctor. He can help.
