Is There Asbestos In Plasterboard

Is there anything important I should know when putting up a ceiling?
I have found out that the ceiling artex has a small amount of asbestos in so I want to cover with plasterboard and have it plastered over so looks nice and new. The original plasterboard though seems to be sinking only slightly so you can see the joins of the joints in the original ceiling. I want to know if my idea would be ok as can’t afford to remove asbestos and don’t want reminder of it being there,
serious answers please.

If you put up new sheetrock, you need to tape and mud the joints now. Go to the heardware store and get a bucket of mud, a roll of tape and a trowel. Put on the tape cover with the mud and fan the mud out 3-4 inches on each side, sand and repeat 2 more time. Make sure the mud dries at leat 8 hours between coats
