Can I quit my job while on worker’s compensation? I no longer am happy about returning to work.?
I am on worker’s comp due to exposure to asbestos and mold and dust. I am due to return to work but I’ve decided that it’s best for me to move on. I have been seeking further employment. I have yet to receive worker’s comp benefits due to the company’s investigation criteria. Thanks.
Do what you want. Worker’s comp isn’t unemployment. But, immediately find out what your diagnosis is. Then call SSA and sign up for disability. They will deny you then you call a disability atty. They will do it all for a %. You’ll have a partial disability and money and still be able to work if you must.
