Cover Asbestos Pipes

Covering Asbestos in Pipes
During my housing inspection, the inspector said that some of the pipes in our basement contain asbestos. He said that it is not a problem now, but over time may get worse and cause health problems. He suggested covering it with a cast, similar to what would be used on a broken arm. Does anyone know a product for this? Thanks
Thanks for the answers. I know that it is dangerous, the seller and I already have an agreement about the house that she is not going to fix it. THanks for the advice but does anyone know a product that can be used? Thanks.
you can also cover it in plastic or encapsulation spray or paint anything to keep the fibers from going airborne bet its still there my advice have it removed because when you go to sell the house the buyer will insist you get rid if it

Yep. It’s the main reason why asbestos is illegal. At least in Australia.
