Concrete Asbestos Roof

concrete asbestos roof
T he best way to re-roof an asbestos garage roof?

I have a pre-cast concrete garage, and want to replace the asbestos roof.It is approx 19′x10′,and has a shallow pitch of about 15″.It has three trusses inside, all narrow angle iron, about 55″ apart.Apart from removing the asbestos, any idea how to go about re-roofing,and the best/easiest materials to use?
I know about disposing of the asbestos,it’s the replacement that is stumping me.
Disposal of asbestos is no problem, our local council tip accept it in a special container.

fix timber battens to the angle irons then fix profiled sheeting to the battens , finish around the edges with 90* angle sheet. You would be best with insulated sheets as sometimes with the plain sheets you get condensation. When removing the asbestos try and keep the sheets whole and wet them to keep the dust down. You could fix the battens over the asbestos sheets the fix the profiled sheets this saves you putting on insulated sheets. Hope this is of some help.
