Was Asbestos used in carpet flooring?

I removed my carpet today which must have been there for 30 years. There was a lot of yellow dust underneath which appear to be from the underlay of the carpet which I just vacuumed away. Could there be a risk of asbestos in this residual or the glue around the edges? The flooring underneath appears to be undamaged.

No … Never in any soft surface flooring .. Many years ago it was used in VCT ( Vinyl Composition Tile) but they were banned in the 70s. GL
